Mesmerising performance, Jaideep ji. You
are indeed the reincarnation of
Kishoreda. Light, serious or
semi-classical you do full justice to
his songs. This song, as well other
songs of Kinara, established RDB as an
MD who is more than the pop music
churner. This song does remind one of
his dad SDB. The flavour comes thro' in
the song.

apni tanhai ka auron se na shikwa
karna......Panchamda's music gives a
poignant touch to Gulzarsaab's lyrics.
Thank you Jaideepji for singing it so
well

Jaidipji you sang this composition so
well and justified Burman saheb's master
[piece of many such wonderful
compositions. I enjoyed learnign from
you the classical espect of this piece
as I myself love more classical music.
Thanks for sharing. Shobhana

"Jaane Kya soch kar nahi Guzra" happens
to be one of the best songs of
R.D.Burman-Kishore Kumar.When i heard
the song for the first time, i felt that
it was Dada Burman's composition. The
composition as such is very mature and
made only for kishore kumar. or i must
say he proves that it was only for him.
R.D.Burman uses "Khamaj" -flavour in
this song, which is again difficult to
categorize into a particular genre. Is
this semi-classical ... Gulzar came up
with some fantastic lines. and R.D
adorned with the best music. i
particularily like the way he changes
the taala of tabla when the line "ek pal
raat bhar nahi guzra". i just wonder at
the way R.D gave importance to each and
every instrument..like tabla changing
beat for a brief duration..for just 1
line..that actually doesnt get noticed
much because of the weight of Kishore's
voice..that heavy reverb of Kishore's
voice...that was the time when R.D
composed only for kishore...
